Our Intentions behind Soul
Grief has a funny way of ripping everything we thought we knew into a million pieces. It catapults us into the cocoon of descent, and then returns us to deeper connection with ourselves and our soul's mission. Soul was created for these moments. To be held in the longing, the despair, the confusion. This deck is an invitation, asking: how can I allow the longing to take me deeper into what is here right now? SOUL began as an artistic exploration.
Flo, co-founder and creative director of Earth Moon Magick, was merging visual styles he had long felt drawn to. When the first image appeared, there was a clear and immediate yes.
Soon after, a card titled see you again emerged. When a close friend who had recently lost her father saw it, she broke down in tears. She finally felt acknowledged and connected, after wanting and needing this for so long.
That moment shaped the heart of the deck.

When Jenn, co-founder and writer, began writing the guidebook, it became clear it couldn't be written from theory.
It required honesty. It required feeling. It required going into the depth of grief that still lived within her, so the words could help that grief rise up, be seen, and finally heal.
Through that process, one truth became clear: grief isn't something that went wrong. It's love that still exists, just without the place it used to land.
