Absolutely beautiful deck

I absolutely love the original Earth Moon Magic Tarot of the Sacred Kingdoms deck. It's my go-to deck for pretty much everything. When I saw this new version I had to get it. Like the original, the artwork is absolutely stunning. This deck has a different concept than the original so the depiction on each card is very different but still gorgeous. This one doesn't "speak" to me quite as loudly as the original (which is now dubbed "Moon edition") but I love it nonetheless. The guidebook is also formatted differently, showing both upright and reversed descriptions as well as affirmations and a little story for each image. The cards are thick and sturdy feeling and not too slippery to shuffle. The guidebook is very nice as well, and not difficult to read and it shows an image for each card, along with the corresponding text. It comes in a nice durable storage box also - excellent protection for the cards and book when not in use.

The artwork on these tarot cards is absolutely stunning. They are thick and sturdy quality. The tarot guide that is included is easy to understand and makes learning different spreads easy. I would recommend this set for any collector of tarot.

These cards has a nice design too them. They feel great in your hands while using them. The colors are very clear and accurate. Everything is well made. This is a nice deck to learn with.

If you're on the fence, just buy it. After you get it, you'll forget the price. I did.

I have another deck by the same maker and I have to say that across the board the quality is fantastic. The cards themselves are sturdy and strong (which can make it a bit of a hassle to shuffle) but they don't tear or bend easily. The size of the cards are more elongated than wide, and pretty comfortable to hold and deal.

My only complaint would be that the cards, while quite beautiful and artistic, are visually dark. Some of the images are hard to see and explore, so it would have been nice to have them brightened up just a bit so that I didn't feel like I'm straining my eyes to see the image.

Unlike the other deck, the included book is much more voluminous. This deck is described as both a tarot and a talisman. There are sections for runes and their meanings and the Major and Minor Arcana descriptions include Insights, Mythos, Upright and Reversals, Reflections and Affirmations, and lastly, Elements. The Elements portions seem to be pulled from the overall lore of the cards.

And speaking of lore...the Minor Arcana is made up of four Sacred Kingdoms, Ashyr (Wands), Lyrindal (Cups), Iceshade (Swords), and Aroboria (Coins). The Major Arcana represents your journey through each of the Kingdoms. There are pages that describe each of the Minor Arcana Kindgdoms, the terrain there and the energy there. To be honest, it's kind of deep, especially in comparison to their other tarot which is much, much more straightforward and doesn't even include reversals. Because of this, I'd say that this would likely take some time to learn. It's literally a new world with new rules and a million different ways you could possibly experience it. For me, I enjoy the journey and I enjoy immersing myself in new worlds, especially the ones that deal with fantasy and lore.

Hard to explain but… it feels like I’m in conversation. The timing of the cards, the sensations I get holding it, the messages is like the deck has a heartbeat. You’ll either get what I mean or you won’t, but if you’re energy-sensitive? You’ll feel it.

This helps me hear what I already knew (and what I still don't). The imagery, the words, it all pulls things out of me I hadn’t been ready to say out loud yet. Feels raw, feels true.

This deck doesn’t coddle. It tells it like it is, and weirdly, that’s exactly what I needed. The clarity it gives feels like someone snapping their fingers in front of my face, like “hey, wake up.” It’s real talk, but with heart.

Every time I pull a card, it manages to name something I hadn’t even admitted to myself yet.
It’s almost unnerving… but in a good way. Like: “yes you do feel that. It’s okay. Now let’s work through it” It’s helping me connect dots I didn’t even know were there.
